Throughout the past decade, the Ford F-Series has been America’s best-selling truck. The continued success of the signature Ford line of trucks is due in no small part to the powerful engine options available for these vehicles, which offer unmatched towing and hauling capabilities. Those capabilities are set to be even more impressive with the 2021 Ford F-150, which will offer best-in-class towing and payload.

The 2021 Ford F-150 sees a boost in power for the mighty 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, which now puts out 400 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. That uptick of 25 horsepower and 30 lb-ft of torque, combined with the Max Trailer Tow Package, supplies the 2021 Ford F-150 with the power to achieve best-in-class 14,000 pounds of max towing. That’s 800 pounds extra on top of the robust towing capacity of the 2020 Ford F-150.

As for payload, the 2021 Ford F-150 has the competition easily beat. When properly equipped, the F-150 can haul a payload of 3,325 pounds, which is more than 1,000 pounds better than every other competitor.**

The 2021 Ford F-150 also debuts the powerful 3.5-liter PowerBoost™ Full Hybrid V6, which delivers the most output of any F-150 with 430 horsepower and 570 lb-ft of torque. That muscle lets this hybrid version of the F-150 tow up to 12,700 pounds and carry a payload of 2,120 pounds when properly equipped.

You’ll find the new 2021 Ford F-150 at Gateway Ford in Greeneville, Tennessee, later this year. Call or email our sales professionals to learn how you can be one of the first on your block with this tougher, stronger, and smarter pickup.
